Bakharkhani is a traditional dish of old Dhaka. This food has a long history. This food is still as popular as the dry bread made in the bosom of our capital. For this, Bakharkhani is named after him. Mirza Agha Bakr was the zamindar of Bujurg Umedpur and Salimabad. He was the son-in-law of Murshid Quli Kharustam Jang II and the founder of Bakerganj.
